Warrenheip Primary school has 20 curriculmn workstations providing our 50-60 students with access to all the above features.
Each workstation is running Windows 2000 Professional and the latest software including Office 2000, Encarta Reference suite 2001, Internet and email access and roaming access to there documents and settings.
Our Windows 2000 Server runs off a 100Mb/s backbone sending data out to a number of 10Mb/s hubs throughout the school.
Each student has there own roaming profile which allows them to take there settings around with them and keep there documents from one machine to another.
Warrenheip gets its Internet access via Edunet through a 64Kb/s ISDN.
